Plastic surgeons often face challenges in accessing standardized and concise information on plastic surgery procedures. The variability in resources and the time-consuming nature of sifting through extensive textbooks and disparate digital content can lead to inconsistencies in knowledge and practice. This can affect the quality of patient care and the efficiency of the learning process.
To address this issue, a McGill team tasked me with designing a digital textbook app to serve as a valuable resource for doctors, providing standardized and peer-reviewed information on plastic surgery procedures in a concise and easily accessible format. It bridges the gap between extensive traditional textbooks and the need for quick, reliable information, ultimately supporting better outcomes in both education and clinical practice.
The app is undergoing development.
