This 3D biomedical illustration was created for a project for my Biomedical Visualization and Communication program. I chose to visualize the inside of a sperm cell in what could be adapted into a college-level textbook diagram. 

To ensure anatomic accuracy, I conducted extensive research by reviewing scientific papers. The final product was a stunning and informative visualization that portrayed the complex structures and processes that occur within the head, neck, and tail of a sperm cell. Never having previously seen the inside of spermatozoa visualized before, I learned how intricate they really are. Truly a marvel.
